Job description

A US-based company building a social platform for organizers and activists to groom, expand communities, and effect change, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the DevOps practices and products on the cloud architecture. The company helps users to discover and join groups that share their values and help them construct the world they want. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, improve, and automate the existing cloud infrastructure to allow the products to scale securely
  • Champion observability and provide tools and services to enhance user experience
  • Improve and enhance the performance of the applications 
  • Perform automated tests for quality assurance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Expertise in infrastructure automation languages like Python, Go, and Node.js
  • Prior experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Experience with common SQL and NoSQL data stores like PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB
  • Familiarity with data engineering pipelines and asynchronous processing
