Job description

A rapidly-growing company that has developed a mobile-first hybrid platform that combines the realms of social network and cryptocurrency, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be working with cross-disciplinary teams to prioritize, scope, specify, build, implement, and test infrastructure and application software. The company's breakthrough technology allows users to earn cryptocurrency and become a part of the most inclusive peer-to-peer marketplace. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires 5+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage in meaningful collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Implement features from conception to release
  • Clearly define work plan and procedures
  • Build new and improve existing infrastructure
  • Deliver innovative solutions to counter persistent problems
  • Proactively take ownership of assigned tasks and successfully execute them

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Demonstrable skills with Docker and Linux Administration
  • Nice to have some knowledge of Kubernetes and Blockchain
  • Prior experience with Data Mining (ML and NLP) and Distributed systems is desirable
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
