Job description

A fast-growing US-based app that provides a design framework tailored for Data Science and Machine Learning teams is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for contributing ideas and taking design and architecture direction from senior executives. The company is developing an app that will help users build and develop data while turning data scripts into shareable, accessible web apps. During the Series B round, the company managed to secure funding worth more than $60 mn. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the product development
  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture
  • Own and drive improvements to our products and infrastructure
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Fix bugs and troubleshoot errors

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Must have extensive experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, and Terraform (CloudFront or Pulumi)
  • Nice to have some understanding of Golang
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Must be a team player but capable of working independently
  • Capable of working without supervision or micromanagement
