Job description

A US-based company utilizing cutting-edge technologies to assist the chemicals industry innovatively is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The developer will be in charge of designing, developing, deploying, and operating full-stack distributed cloud infrastructure for the platform. The advanced SaaS platform helps businesses accelerate their lab, sales, and service processes. The company has secured more than $8.5 mn in funding so far. This role requires a time overlap with the CET time zone and will be a full-time, long-term position.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and deliver continuous delivery pipelines that are highly stable, maintainable, scalable, and secure
  • Serve as a connection between software and systems engineering
  • Take responsibility for the software build, operations, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Identify and preemptively solve future infrastructure problems
  • Design and promote best practices within the organization

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with AWS, Python, and Linux Administration
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and systems automation (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Nice to have some experience working with Docker, Github, and Jenkins
  • Prior experience of infrastructure as code tools, e.g., Cloudformation is desirable
  • Nice to have prior experience with security frameworks, e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2
  • Good English communication skills - both oral and written
