Job description

A US-based company developing critical applications for retail success is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be working within a mature DevOps team and work on CI/CD, Terraform, and Kubernetes implementations/support. The company uses Omnichannel to create meaningful brand experiences for the B2B or B2C shopper. This role requires an overlap of at least 6+ hours with the CST time zone. It will be a long-term, full-time engagement.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design robust, testable systems in the applications as needed 
  • Analyze and enhance the performance of the applications 
  • Write automated tests for quality assurance 
  • Document the codebase and engage in knowledge sharing with the rest of the team
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Demonstrable skills working with DevOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, Containers, and AWS
  • Nice to have some experience with Azure, AWS Config, Cloud Governance, and compliance
  • Understanding of large systems and complex code bases
  • Fluency in English communication
  • Must be capable of efficiently managing assigned tasks and incorporate a hands-on approach
