Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is helping job hunters to fast-track job opportunities and shortlist certified enterprises, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be working on setting up auto-scaling Kubernetes pipelines for ML workflows on AWS. The organization is also helping companies to get leads on verified potential employees by utilizing their cutting edge AI technology. This is a nice opportunity to work alongside industry veterans from companies like Facebook who have led entire video org, conversational AI teams, and cross-geography machine learning teams in the past for other startups. This role requires some time overlap with the IST/PST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on setting up auto-scaling Kubernetes pipelines for Machine Learning workflows on AWS
  • Develop containers for executing large one-off model training jobs and continuously running servers to enable predictions
  • Collaborate with different teams to maintain high productivity, reliability, and scalability of applications
  • Work on developing metrics and KPIs for quantifying product quality and development efficiency 
  • Take charge of designing & developing CI/CD pipelines and ensure source code control management
  • Work on tasks related to architectural/code review & validation, code deployment, and others in phased releases

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer specializing in Kubernetes
  • Proficient with Kubernetes, Github Actions, AWS, CI-CD pipelines, and AWS Lambda
  • Nice to have some experience with technologies such as  ECS, Fargate, and Jenkins
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure as code 
  • Work with a detail oriented attitude with abstract thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English to communicate with different teams
