DevOps Engineer

A U.S.-based company that is developing a fantastic no-code application development platform to assist businesses in creating unique software, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the engineering manager of the Cloud Infrastructure team and will be responsible for creating infrastructure and software release and deployment processes (CI/CD). Businesses can develop, integrate, and regulate software with zero tech debt with the help of the company's faster and more affordable enterprise software development. The company has managed to successfully raise $363mn+ during their Series C round of funding. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Automate the services' maintenance and operation while enhancing them for high availability, resilience, scalability, security, and cost reduction on AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Scale systems sustainably via automation and encourage modifications that will remove barriers as you evolve them
• Create instruments to deploy and track our critical cloud infrastructure, defining everything as code with Terraform and Ansible
• Work on a project to create, configure, and maintain a proprietary API to manage infrastructure across the organization
• Encourage the use of best practices in security, automation, scalability, and high availability
• Work with engineering teams across the organization to comprehend the various services and requirements in order to assist and provide them with the best outcomes possible
• Participate as a partner in the development of our product roadmap and in stand-up meetings
• Utilize blameless postmortems and sustainable incident response
• Document all of the undertaken projects with writing

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
• 3+ years of Cloud experience working with AWS, GCP, and Azure
• 3+ years of large-scale cloud infrastructure development experience
• In-depth knowledge of modern web services architectures and networking
• Understanding of IT operations and best practices for a service that is always on and always available
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies
• Prolific experience working with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Nomad
• Extensive experience with Linux/Unix, Ansible, and Terraform
• Knowledge of security auditing and best practices
• Demonstrable experience constructing infrastructure using software (Ansible and Terraform)
• Familiarity working with Agile processes
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
