Job description

A fast-growing company that is providing BIM (Building Information Modelling) solutions to the international construction industry, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for choosing and implementing the proper CI/CD tools. The company is providing game-changing solutions to Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) organizations. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who are eager to earn their knowledge while working with experienced professionals to tackle multifaceted challenges.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Successfully coordinate the integration of multiple functions and timely completion of the tasks
  • Deploy multiple IT infrastructure, development, testing, and automation technologies
  • Aspire for continuous improvement and establish a CI/CD pipeline
  • Deploy updates and fixes, and analyze the root causes of production issues
  • Investigate and fix technical problems
  • Develop and establish DevOps operation development, test, release, update, and support processes
  • Mix technical and managerial roles in your performance
  • Support and resolve issues with performance, log monitoring, scalability, high availability, backup, and restorations in different environments
  • Wherever possible, promote automation and develop it
  • Determine and implement cybersecurity measures by regularly doing vulnerability assessment and risk management

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Demonstrable experience delivering high-quality software products on time
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Extensive working knowledge of database administration and maintenance, including SQL and scripting
  • Prior experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Prolific experience developing and utilizing DevOps best practices
  • Familiarity with the Agile methodology and practical expertise in Agile development settings
  • Extensive experience working with JavaScript, React, Flutter, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
  • Demonstrable experience with Graph QL, Sage Maker, Python, TypeScript, .NET Core, and .NET MVC
  • Some experience working with Design tools like Invision, Figma, and PhotoShop
  • Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, S3, and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
  • Prior experience with deployment strategy technologies like AWS, Azure, GitHub, Postman, JIRA, and Linux
  • Expertise utilizing technologies like Terraform and CloudFormation to create and manage infrastructure as code is preferred
  • Experience working with IoT in any capacity that can be demonstrated would be useful to have
  • Relevant AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible certifications that are pertinent to DevOps tools and technologies are desirable to have
  • Nice to have prior experience in JIRA and automation management tools
  • Experience in creating and managing microservices architecture is preferred
  • Some experience leading a team of DevOps Engineers is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
  • Must possess excellent communication and coordination skills 
  • Must be a flexible, self-driven individual who can take responsibility for themselves and learn quickly
  • Fluent in spoken and written Hindi and English
