Job Responsibilities:

Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers to provide proper stakeholder focused experience
Implement and practice essential tasks like testing, code reviews, documentation, scalability, performance, etc
Take ownership of design decisions and balance technical debt with business requirements.
Understand requirements, estimate tasks, and contribute to planning roadmap accurately
Develop qualitative solutions to address expansive product-oriented goals
Extend technical teams by providing mentorship, recruiting, and interviewing
Prioritize team goals over individual achievements

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Clojure developer
Must possess professional experience of working with modern Javascript-based solutions like React, Typescript, Babel, Node, etc
Understanding of functional language stacks
Ability to work using a variety of languages, stacks, and programming paradigms
Work closely and assist cross-functional and non-engineering departments
Thorough understanding of design patterns and algorithms
Experience in developing enterprise-grade solutions for organizations at scale
Must possess the ability to contribute across typical web stacks
Experience in project or product management roles will be a bonus
Familiarity with Clojure development best practices is a must
Knowledge of Machine Learning/Data Science related projects is preferred
Experience working in a startup or fast scaling environment will be helpful
