Job description

A fast-growing company that is determined to help build an independent dispatch and routing software, is looking for a Back-End Scala Engineer. The engineer will be working to scale the company’s decouple services in their monolithic back-end. The US-based company's software provides routing and dispatch information to customers, drivers, businesses, and managers. During their Series C round, the company securely raise more than $70mn in funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Scale existing decouple services into a monolithic back-end
  • Take ownership of designing and developing end-to-end solutions
  • Configure serverless back-end solutions to meet the growing user demand
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional team members to develop efficient applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Must possess at least 3 years of professional experience working with Scala
  • Ability to work with technologies like NodeJS is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of domain-driven development will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of building serverless solutions will be a huge bonus
