Job description

A U.S.-based company that is providing and distributing world-class musical instruments, recording software, studio gear, and more to customers worldwide, is looking for an Apache Pinot Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of documenting the codebase and engaging in the knowledge-sharing process with other engineers. The company is operating a successful chain of the largest selection of guitar and amplifier stores. They have managed to securely raise more than $30mn in funding so far.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain necessary documentation for the project 
  • Serve as a mentor and assist cross-functional teams and engineers in locating solutions to development-related issues 
  • Express the team's requirements to the company leadership 
  • Stay informed and updated on new technologies and implement them cautiously

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Apache Pinot
  • Prior experience working with AWS Lambda and Kafka topics
  • Demonstrable experience with S3 and Python coding
  • Familiarity with REST API and end-to-end points on Pinot
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
