Job description

A global provider of technology products, services, and solutions is looking to hire a Full-stack Engineer (Angular/Typescript). As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the entire software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. The company works on guiding innovations for over 180,000 leading technology manufacturers and service providers. They have grown rapidly and made sales up to $29bn. The developer is expected to have solid expertise in both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on various stages of the application development with Angular, Typescript, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
  • Design and develop user interfaces using existing style guidelines
  • Actively participate in the user interface implementation from the initial planning and design to the project release 
  • Collaborate on conceptual ideas, design, and the user-centered design process
  • Actively plan, analyze and review functional and technical specification documents 
  • Architect holistic design solutions to address design, layout, maintenance, and web performance
  • Work closely with the product management and design teams to define feature requirements and deliver the product 
  • Integrate software that materially impacts the business and improves the customer experience
  • Design the client-side and server-side architecture
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Test, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Write technical documentation and create security and data protection settings
  • Enhance the features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software, exploring ML/AI capabilities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science Interactive Media, Interactive Design, Visual Studies, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of web development experience 
  • Solid understanding of MVC frameworks, such as Angular version 2+, Node.js, or similar technologies 
  • Sound expertise in CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Prior working knowledge with responsive design, Bootstrap, Typescript, and modern front-end or UI functional programming
  • Proficiency with software development phases, especially in planning and executing large scale projects
  • Ability to work across the stack in a team, contributing ideas and assisting where needed
  • Experience working with source code management tools in a shared code environment
  • An understanding of the creative and development lifecycle is essential
  • Track record developing across multiple browsers while maintaining a consistent experience, especially IE11
  • Understanding of browser-based interfaces and the interactions with back-end and RESTful web services
  • Capable of embracing change and iterating processes and methodologies to improve
  • A knack for code quality and scalability
  • Familiarity with Cassandra, Hadoop, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, DropWizard, and Fluent
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable APIs
  • Proficiency in software development best practices (SCM / unit tests)
  • Experience with MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node) stack development
