Job description

A U.S.-based company that is building new technologies to improve animal welfare and agricultural sustainability is looking for an Android Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be in charge of bug fixing and improving application performance. The company is developing advanced animal Agtech, equipment, SaaS, and HaaS solutions to help improve digital animal healthcare technologies. The company has managed to secure more than $872K+ during their Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs
  • Take charge of unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Demonstrable experience with Android, Java, and MySQL
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
