Job description

A U.S.-based company that is determined to offer mobile-first solutions for the human-centric workplace is looking for an Android Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for assuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the built application. Employers and operations teams can work together using the company's solutions to create workplaces that are responsive, productive, and healthy. This will be a full-time position. The company has securely raised more than $7.2mn in funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Help in building advanced applications for Android devices
  • Assist in translating designs and wireframes into high-quality codes
  • Look into identifying major bottlenecks and resolving bugs
  • Continuously discover and implement new technologies in the applications
  • Collaborating with UI and UX Designers and other developers
  • Ensure that the application conforms to user specifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an Android engineer
  • Should possess a thorough knowledge of different aspects of Android development along with the latest trends and best practices
  • Ability to work with languages like Kotlin is essential
  • Must have detailed knowledge of developing solutions on Java
  • Knowledge of Firebase, OOkHttp, retrofit, and app auth is nice to have
  • Should possess strong communication skills with fluency in English
