Job description

A popular video-streaming platform for mobile devices that are assertively used by millions of subscribers, is looking for an Android Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering the best performance, quality, and responsiveness for the apps. The company offers its services in 6 countries, and 17 languages and has managed to raise more than $230 mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create concepts and application drafts
  • Convert wireframes and drawings into high-quality code
  • Design, create, and maintain high-performance, reusable Android applications
  • Ensure the highest level of responsiveness, performance, and quality for the apps
  • Find bottlenecks, troubleshoot them, and fix bugs.
  • Maintain organization, quality, and automation of the code
  • Implement safety measures for user data

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a mobile application developer
  • Knowledge of Android and Kotlin
  • Knowledge of Java is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
