Job description

A US-based company developing a robust online ticket marketplace that is transforming the entertainment sector is looking for an Android Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable, reusable, and high-performance Android applications. The company is dedicated to connecting people through its world-class product, platform, marketing, and event expertise. They have managed to raise more than $50 mn in funding so far.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and formulate applications
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Design, build and maintain reliable, reusable, and high-performance Android applications
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness in the apps
  • Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Implement measures to safeguard user data

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7+ years of relevant Android engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Android
  • Knowledge of Android SDK and its principles
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Familiarity with the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and related technologies
  • Proficiency in English
