Job description

A US-based digital ticketing platform enabling ticket buyers and sellers to purchase and sell tickets using desktop and mobile experiences is looking for an Android Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting errors to ensure a smooth user experience. The company operates by connecting fans with their favorite teams, shows, and artists while also introducing them to new ones. They have successfully raised over $50mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and formulate applications
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Design, build and maintain reliable, reusable, and high-performance Android applications
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness in the apps
  • Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Implement measures to safeguard user data
  • Monitor app reviews to identify areas for improvement

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant mobile engineering experience
  • Strong experience in publishing Android apps
  • Knowledge of Android SDK and its principles
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Familiarity with the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and related technologies
  • Understanding the complete mobile development life cycle
