Job description

A US-based company that has built a first-of-its-kind app for frontline healthcare workers is looking for an Android Engineer. The engineer will join the company’s existing team of iOS engineers to build out a new Android app. The company is on a mission to ensure that healthcare professionals have access to all the tools and resources they need to provide excellent services. The company has managed to raise more than $120K during their Pre-seed round of funding. This will be a great chance for those who want to contribute their expertise in building highly performant apps from scratch.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional team members to design, develop, review and test applications
Write clean, efficient, performant, and secure code
Design and build applications that are efficient, reusable, and reliable
Help define and improve the internal standards for style, maintainability, and best industry practices
Work closely with product leaders and the technical team to develop scalable solutions

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an Android engineer
Demonstrable experience with Android, Kotlin, and Java
Familiarity with Unit testing
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
In-depth knowledge of clean code and architecture principles
