Job description

A U.S.-based company that is revolutionizing the fitness industry by providing a unique workout-from-home program is looking for an Android Developer. The selected candidate will ensure that the apps have the greatest possible performance, quality, and responsiveness. The company provides a number of courses and activities such as level cycling classes, yoga, and other core training programs that will be live and on demand. The company has managed to raise over $50 mn in funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Design, build and maintain reliable, reusable, and high-performance Android applications
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness in the apps
Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and fix bugs
Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
Strong experience in building and publishing Android apps
Knowledge of Android SDK and its principles
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Familiarity with the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and related technologies
Understanding of the complete mobile development life cycle
Proficiency in English
