Android Developer

A rapidly-growing US-based company utilizing patent-pending innovative technologies to make online conversations more effective is looking for an Android Developer. The developer will be working under the guidance of the CTO on the company’s new product that enhances the intimacy of the brand-consumer relationship. The firm focuses on creating and delivering content that helps peer-to-peer texts, payments, posts, and DMs to be more expressive and effective by innovatively utilizing cutting-edge AI technology. During its Series B round of funding, the company managed to raise $50 mn+. This role requires some overlap with the EST/PST time zone and will be a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Push the boundaries of on-device natural language understanding
• Work closely with the other members of our multidisciplinary development team
• Build beautiful user interfaces used by hundreds of millions of people around the globe
• Create SDKs that are flexible, bulletproof, and easy to integrate with

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years developing with Android SDK in a production environment
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin
• Extensive Systems and OOP knowledge
• In-depth understanding of Android architecture paradigms
• Expert knowledge of Android testing frameworks and best practices for testing
• The ability to consistently write high-quality code
• Nice to have some iOS/Objective C experience
