Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is utilizing modern technology to help transform the entertainment industry with their innovative soccer gaming application, is looking for an Android Developer. The developer will own features from conception to release, including design, development, testing, and debugging. The company is aspiring to be the leader in soccer fandom by gamifying the consumption of soccer and popularizing the sport more. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the SGT time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be actively involved in developing new features with tech and product leadership
  • Establish and supervise the Android development team while creating the core Android app from scratch
  • Create a structure and framework for future Android developers to use in order to build quickly and effectively
  • To increase the effectiveness of development, continually identify, assess, and implement new technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an Android Developer
  • Prolific experience working with Android/Kotlin and AWS
  • Some understanding of CI/CD, MySQL, and DynamoDB is desirable
  • Great collaboration and time management skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
