Job description

An NYSE-listed company that is creating a cutting-edge system for business and financial activities that will drive global economic growth, is looking for an Android Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough code reviews, offering helpful criticism, and guiding junior developers. The company is creating an ecosystem of banking, lending, and payment options to support your success in the digital era. The company has managed to secure more than $2.2bn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create functions and programs that are responsive to mobile devices
  • Participate in code reviews, provide support, look into, and determine the causes of any faults, defects, or issues with the produced program that have been reported
  • Keep up-to-date with the standard language, code standards, and operational needs
  • Work with the most recent Android tools, technologies, and trends and implement them into your development workflows

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an Android developer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Android SDK, Android/Java, and RESTful APIs
  • Solid familiarity with integrating external libraries
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Android UI best practices
  • Nice to have some Bluetooth developer experience
  • Working knowledge with Material libraries and objects is preferred
  • Solid understanding of SDK development background is nice to have
  • Familiarity with AWS Solutions Architecture is desirable
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
