Job description

A rapidly-growing company that helps its customers digitally transform their business at any stage is looking for a Senior .NET Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for acknowledging and implementing sound code automation principles and concepts. To maximize the value and projects, the company leverages a unique combination of technical, functional, and industry specialization, as well as partnerships with key software vendors. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the US or Canadian time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and dependable code
  • Perform both functional and non-functional testing
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications in an effective and efficient manner
  • Ensure that applications have the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness
  • Learn and follow the organization's industry best practices
  • Understand and adhere to good code automation principles and concepts
  • Recognize client needs and how they relate to new application features
  • Estimate the cost of new change requests
  • Set specifications for new applications in collaboration with the development team and other IT personnel
  • Examine existing applications and learn how to modernize them
  • Create technical documents to accurately represent application design and code as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 7+ years of experience using C# / NET Framework and Visual Studio or comparable IDE
  • Experience with ASP.NET webforms
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server / DevOps
  • Experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework A
  • Knowledge of MV frameworks such as Angular, Knockout, or React
  • Relational DB experience and strong understanding of good data design
  • Understanding of and experience with modern software design principles and practices
  • Experience with various software development methodologies
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Great attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent English communication skills both oral and written
