Job description

A U.S.-based company that is on a mission to establish itself as the leading service provider in the transportation industry, is looking for a Senior .NET Developer. The developer will be responsible for converting wireframes and designs into high-quality code. The company is connecting consumers who require shipment with carriers who have the capacity and services they require. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring a significant overlap with the CST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold best practices for development, and ensure that all developers are aware of and abide by them
  • Help product teams implement new features and adopt new technologies
  • Build reusable, modular, high-performance web code
  • Recognize technological and functional design, then develop it

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a .NET Developer
  • Demonstrable experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET/C#, REST/RESTful APIs, and SQL
  • In-depth knowledge of JSON, XML, MS Azure, and JavaScript frameworks
  • Prolific experience with Source control/version control system (VSTS)
  • Some familiarity with React, Angular.js, Web Services, CI/CD, and Agile is desirable
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
