Job description

A rapidly-growing company determined to develop state-of-the-art employee monitoring software is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building intuitive and high-performance applications while tackling challenging problems. The company is building a comprehensive employee performance, presence, and activity insight management platform that will help businesses to streamline their operations. The company has managed to securely raise $900K+ during their Seed round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with product and UX teams to understand and build user journeys 
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver a quality product
  • Take ownership of the SDLC for components within the team and ensure their delivery
  • Contribute to ease of use, functionality, user experience, and product accessibility
  • Develop a user-friendly interface for the product while adhering to the organizational goals
  • Assist in designing mockups and user journeys
  • Contribute to improving and adding new features to the product
  • Help in the growth of the company and contribute to vertical and horizontal growth of the organization

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Demonstrable experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
  • Working experience delivering on multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to deliver efficiently
  • Extensive experience with Git, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Prolific experience with Typescript
  • Experience with UI component libraries such as Material, Bootstrap, Fluent, etc.
  • Prior experience with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is preferred 
  • Experience interacting with APIs and services using REST, GRPC, WebSockets, RTSP, etc.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of web standards and terminologies such as HTTP, CDN, SSL, CORS, CSRF, ServiceWorker, etc.
  • Experience in deploying to Cloud Services such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.
  • Testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Jest, Mocha, Cucumber, etc.
  • Experience building a custom components library
  • Experience integrating with StoryBook
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
