Job description

A fast-growing company that is making it simple to choose, secure, and maintain software dependencies with their cutting-edge technology is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be helping the team to transition to newer technology stacks and architectures. The company's advanced solutions enable development and security teams to maximize software reuse by safely evaluating, maintaining, and updating dependencies. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy tackling complex problems and deriving efficient solutions. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the platform UI components are scalable, secure, and accessible 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the company’s goals effectively 
  • Boost the performance and responsiveness of the web applications 
  • Optimize and scale the existing web application for site speed and responsiveness  

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS fundamentals and best practices
  • Solid understanding of Typescript/JavaScript and one or more UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
  • Empathy and commitment to user-first thinking 
  • Awareness of common UX topics and concerns
  • Familiarity with design systems and re-usable, component-based UI architecture
  • Solid understanding of responsive design and device-agnostic development
  • Experience with front-end test-driven development (Jest, Testing Library, Mocha, etc.)
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with continuously evolving priorities
  • Ability to solve problems creatively when in uncharted or unfamiliar territory
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
