Job description

A VC-backed company on a mission to disrupt how B2B businesses generate pipeline by leveraging the power of technology is looking for a Senior Front-End Platform Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building and scaling platforms and tools that will have an impact on businesses. The U.S.-based company's advanced technology enables businesses to tap into buyer intent signals from their target accounts. The company has managed to successfully secure $160mn+ during their Series C round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with product managers, product designers, and back-end engineers to develop key application components 
  • Assist in maintaining and scaling highly-available, heavily-trafficked services that customers rely on for functionality that is time-sensitive and business-critical
  • Evaluate new technologies and introduce new subsystems
  • Ensure requirements for engineering quality, scalability, reliability, and reusability are met
  • Prior experience in leading large-scale projects while guiding and mentoring other developers
  • Take responsibility for every stage of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and production
  • Establish and uphold high standards of engineering excellence

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • 5+ years of experience developing web applications 
  • Extensive experience working with JavaScript/HTML/CSS and React Native
  • Prolific experience with React.js or another modern JavaScript web framework (Vue.js, Angular, Ember, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience with software engineering practices such as coding, unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Nice to have some experience with the full-stack development and front-end test frameworks
  • Prior experience with SVG, D3, and mobile platforms is desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills
