Job description

A rapidly-growing company developing a multi-currency app that will allow users to send and receive money from all around the world is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be participating in building and implementing effective test strategies. The platform's revolutionary technology enables users to send money directly to bank accounts and e-wallets. The company has managed to raise $11 mn+ during their Series A round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with technologies like Typescript, React Native, React, Feather.js, and styled components for the platform
  • Own the full software lifecycle, from ideation and discovery to deployment and support
  • Develop and build scalable, reusable components that improve both user and dev experience
  • Emphasize robust, scalable code through continuous refactoring while developing features
  • Build and foster a stable Agile environment
  • Stay up to date with the newest technologies and trends

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer 
  • Demonstrable experience mentoring junior engineers
  • Passionate about building a consumer-facing mobile application using React Native
  • Prolific experience in Typescript, React Native, React, or similar JS frameworks
  • Solid understanding of industry best practices and web standards
  • Prior experience performing unit and integration testing
  • Passion for CSS and building for scale and performance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of web accessibility and best practices
  • Experience in Smart UI and design
  • Proven experience delivering products in collaboration with UX, Design, Product, and engineering teams
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines
  • Experience contributing to a Design System
  • Ability to participate in Open Source projects
  • Strong verbal and written English communication
