Job description

A rapidly-growing company building an efficient sports management and registration platform, is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with streamlining the platform and features while working closely with a team of talented professionals. The US-based company is determined to scale and monetize sports leagues and events. The company has securely raised more than $32mn during their Series B round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the design and product team to understand and translate UI requirements into code
  • Execute front-end coding during development sprints to produce great consistent UI
  • Collaborate with back-end developers during sprints to create an end-to-end solution
  • Work actively with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and 3rd party libraries or frameworks such as jQuery and React
  • Execute UI development for web desktop and mobile web
  • Maintain and manage a cohesive front-end framework 
  • Research, prototype, and advice on new front-end technologies and tools
  • Grow the design system to be used across various teams
  • Contribute and build test cases for cross-browser testing and assist in the QA engineering process
  • Provide troubleshooting and escalated technical support to production features that involve UI/front-end

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer using JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience developing complex web applications using React
  • Proficient with automated testing (Jest, Cypress, etc.), RESTful API design, CI/CD 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum 
  • Experience with Typescript is a plus
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
