Senior Front-End Engineer

The engineer will be responsible for incorporating new technologies and features into the platform. Job Responsibilities:

• Creating, developing, and maintaining innovative, engaging websites for our clients' global audiences
• Develop sites that range from modern scrolling presentations with complex motion and interactivity to headless CMS-driven sites to experimental work incorporating technologies such as WebGL or new browser APIs
• From the concepting stage to the completion phase, collaborate closely with a team
• Calculate the feasibility and level of effort required for a design or idea
• Troubleshooting, debugging and assisting other developers
• Guide other developers and facilitate best practices and knowledge sharing
• Build complex, high-quality, responsive websites and web experiences
• Develop and maintain projects utilizing industry standards and best practices 
• Drive improvements to the company’s internal processes
• Create solutions to complex problems by combining open-source TS/JS modules and your own code
• Creating responsive front-ends for headless CMS systems such as Sanity.io and HubSpot, as well as designing the CMS structure for others to populate with content

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
• Creating mobile and desktop responsive websites with Typescript/Sass/HTML
• Good understanding of React is required
• Must have expertise with Typescript and JavaScript
• Understanding of Jinja, Nunjucks, Moustache, Handlebars or other similar systems is required
• Must be able to use Node as part of the toolchain like Gulp, Webpack, and TSC (Typescript) compiler
• Understanding of Sass / CSS modules / Styled Components is required
• Familiarity with Hubspot, Sanity.io, any other headless CMS is a plus
• Competency in implementing performant, accessible, and localization-friendly websites
• Have a keen mind that is set to develop solutions to novel sets of problems and execute at a high level
• Familiarity with back-end development in Node or Python is nice to have
