Job description

A fast-growing cloud-based platform with superior machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities for a tailored and seamless consumer experience is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be involved in developing any enterprise systems like eCommerce, manufacturing, supply chain, etc. Through the US-based company's bespoke machine learning algorithms, dealers can sell more and provide better experiences while saving money and increasing customer loyalty. They have managed to raise over $400mn during their Series D round of funding. This role requires 8+ hours overlap with the IST time zone and will be a full-time, long-term position.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and build complicated workflow efficiently and with ease
Predict user needs and provide a smooth experience
Work across the solution design, implementation, optimization, and support while offering technical competence at every stage of the project lifecycle
Develop tech specifications for one or more project modules based on business needs
Prepare the technical design of the module's components, such as the client/web presentation tier, server tier, data access and data model, integration component, and customization of package functions
Explain to the clients and project team the benefits and drawbacks of using one technology stack, component, or design style over another
Take control of the technology and design choices to create the best architecture possible
Lead performance tuning, re-design, and re-factoring for a module
Contribute to the design and implementation of the software application relating to the build, release, system configuration, and deployment characteristics
Implement module components based on current Framework and Open-source standards and best practices
For design, implementation, and other processes, mentor the team on technology principles and best practices

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
Demonstrable experience working with React
Knowledge of modern tech stacks and the latest JavaScript terminologies
Extensive experience with Redux, React Native, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and HTTP
Knowledge of XML, JSON, DOM, and w3c standards
Excellent understanding of performance and optimization techniques
Experience working with Git and project management tools like JIRA etc.
Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
