Job description

A fast-growing dynamic logistics technology company making digital simplicity available to the international freight industry is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be reporting to the co-founder and responsible for the front-end development of the platform. The company is on a mission to build the next-generation digital experience for freight professionals by making automated information flow easily available. This is an exciting opportunity for developers eager to showcase their skills and ramp up their careers.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a substantial project
  • Actively communicate with product and engineering teams
  • Work on optimizing products for efficient execution and resolve scalability related problems
  • Analyze and enhance the performance of the applications
  • Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable code 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Understanding of Nrwl/nx mono repository architecture, Ngrx events, reducers, and state
  • Experience with Angular and CSS/SCSS
  • Must have a high level of platform-relevant experience in i18n/l10n
  • Be enthusiastic and familiar with Django based APIs
  • Familiarity with Github-centric development, Travis CI, Unit/e2e testing, Cloudfront, and related DevOps is nice to have
  • Nice to have an experience in the shipping and logistics industry
