Job description

A fast-growing company that is building the first customized eyewear line that enables customers to buy glasses that reflect their personality, mood, and interests, is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with design, product, and other engineering teams to transform goals, specs, and mocks into reality. The company is backed by leading venture capitalists in the consumer, entertainment, sports, and fashion space. They have managed to securely raise $70mn+ during their Series B round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Concentrate on optimizing the website, keep UI/UX, performance, and accessibility in mind
Participate in technical discussions with the rest of the team, such as architectural meetings and code reviews
Break down the greater business initiatives into smaller segments
Collaborate with the Product, Design, and Data teams to build technical solutions that will help all departments achieve their goals

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of experience working as a front-end engineer
Experience with React, Webpack, Shopify Plus, Ruby on Rails, and AWS is a must
Must have expertise in CI/CD, unit testing, and E2E testing using frameworks like Cypress
Confidence to communicate internally and externally
Great command over English
