Job description

A US-based company that is leveraging the power of ensuring users money is spent the way it is intended, is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The company provides users with secure and accurate distributions of funds through full controllable virtual and physical debit cards. This is a great opportunity for developers who enjoy working with complex code bases and want to improve their skill sets.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other engineers to build outstanding UX
  • Lead the design of performant, beautiful, and usable interfaces that solve for growing businesses with complex needs
  • Set the technical vision for the team’s platforms and products and lead design discussions and implementation of multiple complex projects
  • Work to incorporate customer feedback to constantly improve the product
  • Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, and ideally some experience with HTMX and AlpineJS libraries 
  • Experience in the Payments industry is preferred (card issuers, program managers, processors, payment gateways, neo-banks/challenger banks)
  • Knowledge of Python (with Django framework)
  • Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale
  • Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft
