Job description

A fast-growing company offering contactless digital services and sales through its dealer management system is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be involved in developing any enterprise systems like e-commerce, manufacturing, supply chain, etc. The fast-paced startup's advanced technology connects businesses through seamless integrations to provide dealers an edge to sell more. They have managed to raise $400mn+ during their Series D round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time role requiring 8+ hours overlap with the IST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and handle complex workflows 
  • Work with stockholders and architects to create technology specifications from business requirements for one or more project modules
  • Prepare the technical design of the module's components (client/web presentation tier, server tier, data access and data model, integration component, package function customization)
  • Drive performance tuning, re-design, and re-factoring for a module.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the application's build, release, and system configuration and deployment characteristics 
  • Implement module components following current Framework and Open-source standards, as well as best practices
  • Guide the team on technology principles and best practices for design, implementation, and other procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ReactJS/Redux), React Native, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and HTTP
  • Strong understanding of XML, JSON, DOM, and W3C standards 
  • Experience providing technical expertise for every phase of the project lifecycle; from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization, and support
  • Proficient in communicating to clients and project team the benefits and drawbacks of using one technology stack, component, or design pattern over another
  • Capacity to drive the selection of technologies and designs to arrive at the best architecture
  • Understanding of basic Rest Principles
  • Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA
  • Excellent understanding of performance and optimization techniques
  • Experience working with Git
