Job description

A rapidly-growing company building a one-of-its-kind cloud-native business applications platform is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be in charge of designing and implementing the build release process as well as the system configuration and deployment characteristics of the application. The US-based company is utilizing the power of advanced machine learning and AI to offer businesses a customized and seamless consumer experience. They have raised more than $400mn in funding during their Series D round. This role requires 8+ hours overlap with the IST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build complicated Workflow
  • Offer slick experiences by leveraging the knowledge of the user persona
  • Be involved and showcase your technical expertise in every phase of the project lifecycle; from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization, and support
  • Deliver technology specifications from business requirements for one or more modules within the project
  • Be in charge of the technical design of components within the module 
  • Articulate the pros and cons of using a certain technology stack/component/design pattern versus another to the clients and project team 
  • Drive selection of technologies and designs to come up with the optimal architecture
  • Handle the performance tuning, re-design, and re-factoring for a module
  • Implement the module components based on prevailing Framework and Open-source standards and its best practices
  • Mentor the team working on the module and other projects and guide them on technology concepts, best practices for design, implementation, and other processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, DOM, and w3c standards
  • Experience in JavaScript (ReactJS / Redux), React Native, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and HTTP
  • Strong understanding of basic Rest Principles
  • Familiar with project management tools like JIRA.
  • Prior experience developing any enterprise systems like eCommerce, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.,
  • Excellent understanding of performance and optimization techniques
  • Experience of working with Git
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
