Job description

An industry-leading cloud-native platform transforming the automotive retail industry is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will provide technical expertise for every phase of the project lifecycle, from concept development to solution design, down to implementation, and support. The company specializes in creating elegant, intuitive solutions built with cutting-edge technology powered by Big Data, ML/AIoT, and more. The candidate will join the team to invent a new technology, overcome barriers and solve big problems while having fun. This is a full-time, long-term role requiring an 8-hour overlap with IST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build a complicated workflow
  • Understand the user persona and deliver an amazing experience
  • Interface with stockholder sand architects to create technology specifications from business requirements 
  • Take responsibility to prepare the technical design of the components within the module 
  • Play an active role in developing enterprise systems like e-commerce, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.
  • Drive the selection of technologies and designs to come up with the optimal architecture
  • Advocate for performance tuning, re-design, and refactoring for a module
  • Work on designing and implementing the build, release process, system configuration, and deployment characteristics of the application
  • Integrate the module components based on prevailing Framework and Open-source standards and best practices
  • Guide and mentors the team on technology concepts and best practices for design, implementation, and other processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • High-level proficiency in JavaScript (ReactJS / Redux) React Native, HTML, CSS, JQuery, HTTP
  • Good knowledge of XML, JSON, DOM, and w3c standards
  • Proficient in articulating the pros and cons of using a certain technology stack, component, or design pattern versus another to the clients and project team
  • Strong sense of ownership with an attitude for getting things done
  • Good understanding of basic Rest Principles
  • Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA
  • Excellent understanding of performance and optimization techniques
  • Experience working with Git and in a fast-paced start-up environment
