Senior Front-End Engineer

The engineer will be responsible for building and implementing high-quality web applications as part of an Agile development team. Job Responsibilities:

• Work as a part of an Agile development team to design and implement highly performant web applications
• Publish and govern UI best practices and ensure quality UI standards 
• Develop and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility and effectiveness of the UI/UX designs
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assist in QA activities including unit, functional, and integration testing

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in front-end, UI/UX design, and development of applications for multiple platforms
• Experience in creating intuitive interfaces and interaction layers using best practices 
• Familiarity with the latest web trends and all available tools to support the user experience
• Proficiency in Angular and Redux front-end libraries and frameworks
• Proficiency in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, knowledge of Bootstrap and LESS/SASS
• Solid expertise in building Unit Tests using Jasmine, Karma, or similar technologies
• Prior experience with search databases such as Elasticsearch, SOLR, or MarkLogic is a plus
• Track record of experience in software deployment tools like Jenkins, Git, BitBucket, etc.
