Job description

A rapidly emerging company that is successfully developing a no-code programming language for the biotechnology industry, is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for completing projects and supporting work in a cross-functional, time-sensitive environment. The company is establishing a run time as well as an IDE for formulating pharmaceutical recipes and processes. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on the web application development, creation, and implementation in a dynamic SaaS product context
  • Strong ability to write clear and exact code using Angular 6+, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Express.js, Nest.js, and related technologies
  • Effectively participate as a single contributor in cross-functional teams made up of product- and business-minded engineers at various stages of a project's life cycle
  • Fulfill and surpass commitments for projects while promptly addressing and resolving any technical problems
  • Engage in technical and cross-functional group conversations with product leadership and developers with minimal to no supervision
  • Create/maintain technical design documents that are succinct and comprehensible based on analysis of technical business requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Demonstrable experience with Angular 6+ and TypeScript
  • Experience building a product in collaboration with the product development team, product managers, etc.
  • Nice to have some experience using microservices
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS and Docker is desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills
