Job description

A U.S.-based company that is providing a file data platform for multi-cloud environments with large-scale file data, is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be giving significant and beneficial input on UX components for a range of products that the company is delivering to its customers on a regular basis. Using the business' state-of-the-art technology, users may store, manage, and curate unstructured data at a petabyte scale. The company has managed to secure $343mn+ during their Series E round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build end-to-end, intuitive, straightforward, and navigation-friendly UI utilizing React and TypeScript 
  • Provide user-facing products in collaboration with product owners, software developers, and user-experience designers
  • Create and use clear, readable, tested, and maintainable front-end components
  • In an Agile development process, work progressively and cooperatively
  • Design/architect the company's UI/UX from the ground up to be more in line with modern technologies
  • Collaborate directly with software engineers and UX designers to give clients the knowledge they need to comprehend and monitor their systems 
  • Assist and guide the customers in taking the proper management actions
  • Design shared UI concepts and components to guarantee a smooth and uniform user experience across the entire product

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • 3+ years of experience with front-end component-based frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.  
  • Demonstrable expertise utilizing the React ecosystem, which consists of React.js, Enzyme, Webpack, Flux, and Redux, to design and create UI interface components
  • Prolific experience with JavaScript or TypeScript 
  • In-depth knowledge of concepts such as asynchronous programming, promises, and closures
  • Ability to collaborate with designers and internal/external customers to create a user-centric experience
  • Familiarity with software testing, especially the difficulties involved with testing front-end code
  • Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
