Job description

A U.S.-based company developing a world-class platform that is redefining the way adults connect, interact and express themselves online is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The developer will become a key member of a professional team and assist them to resolve production concerns. The company has helped to shape and innovate some of the most popular and widely-used dating and entertainment websites in the world. The company has managed to secure $550 mn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize design mockups to implement safe and standards-compliant pages
  • Work with agile, cross-functional teams to offer direction on the creation and application of user interfaces
  • Test code across platforms and browsers
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Design, implement, and test highly scalable, reliable websites
  • Provide agile software delivery, superior UI implementation, and high-quality software
  • When problems develop, document all work and let team members know about them

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • 3+ years of experience working with React
  • Extensive experience working with Typescript, SCSS, and HTML5
  • Prior eperience debugging distributed systems
  • Solid experience developing social networking sites
  • Nice to have some knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, Next.js, and MobX
  • Must be comfortable working with adult content
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task efficiently 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and must be a team player
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
