Job description

A fast-growing company building efficient software that helps users deploy new energy projects like solar, batteries, and electric vehicles is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will lead and manage the front-end engineering team while also researching integrations/product improvements, design reviews, etc. The company specializes in handling large amounts of data and turning it into engaging, easy-to-understand visualizations and clear, actionable recommendations. This position requires 3+ hours of overlap with the AEST time zone and will be a full-time role. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Turn designs for new features into stable, functional, intuitive, lean, responsive code for a SaaS product
  • Lead the front-end engineering team
  • Share the management of the team with the product manager
  • Provide and receive feedback from colleagues or ask for assistance when required
  • Delegate tasks, carry out informal check-ins, and mentor junior team members
  • Perform code reviews and other forms of direct support

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with Vue.js/Nuxt/Git
  • Demonstrable ability to rapidly learn languages
  • Good eye for UX design and implementation will be nice to have
  • Prior start-up experience is nice to have
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure to meet key deadlines
  • Fluent in written and conversational English
