Job description

A US-based company that has built a community for members to talk about anything and connect is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating and working with cross-functional teams. The company is working on the next-generation video surface, as well as new creative tools and a hub for creators. This role requires an overlap from 10 am-3 pm EST. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing multiple markup languages to write web pages
  • Perform regular site maintenance and optimization of web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and the best user experience
  • Maintain brand consistency
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Web Designers, Developers, Project Managers, and System Analysts to complete projects
  • Maintain technical documentation, including tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
  • Bridge the gap between visual designs and their technical implementation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Knowledge of React, web components, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Redux
  • Familiarity with Typescript is nice to have
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills in English
