Job description

A US-based NASDAQ-listed company operating a video, voice, and live interactive streaming platform is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for planning, developing, and shaping new features by collaborating with users, stakeholders, and other team members. The company is on a mission to make real-time interaction widely accessible, allowing anybody, at any time, to communicate extensively. The company has successfully raised close to $130mn in funding. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work in a fast-growing multinational company that values teamwork and recognizes individual impact
  • Create front-end modules in React, as well as test and document them
  • Collaborate on PRs and code reviews with teammates
  • Desire to learn and improve your technical skills by reading code, documentation, running experiments, and conversing with coworkers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience building front-end web applications with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a must
  • 3+ years of writing SPAs using React and Typescript is required
  • 3+ years writing React Native apps is a must
  • Understanding of Hooks is required
  • Experience with SSR frameworks like Next.js
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks like jest 
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and writing custom Webpack configs
  • Experience with mobile development like Android/IOS is nice to have
  • Experience with Desktop development like WinRT (C#) / Mac apps (Swift) is desirable
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
