Job description

An emerging market-leading company providing advanced global travel technology is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining solutions, extensions, and features on the platform. The company offers travelers the ability to upgrade their experience in multiple ways. The company has managed to securely raise $140mn+ in funding so far. This role requires 8+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop great products for the airlines and travelers
  • Build new features with the support of a functional team of product managers, developers, and designers in test automation
  • Deliver a well-tested and high-quality product
  • Opportunity to collaborate in the development of new technical proposals
  • Contribute to the development of new internal tools that will enhance the internal procedures
  • Assist the support and operations team in analyzing the problem and solving it

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of experience working as a front-end developer
  • 4+ years of experience in Java
  • 3+ years of experience in Springboot, SQL, React, and Web API experience
  • 3 years of professional experience in web application development
  • AWS and CI/CD experience is nice to have
  • Worked as a team and delivered a product you can be proud of
  • Ability to easily lead a technical discussion in front of an audience and contribute to technical decision-making
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of computer fundamentals like data structure, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval
  • Experience in the design and implementation of software in Java or .Net and deployment in the Cloud (preferably AWS)
  • Good knowledge of the test and the test pyramid
  • Familiarity with delivery pipelines and feedback loops
  • Pay attention to the delivery of a quality product
