Job description

A fast-growing company that is engaging and rewarding audiences through unique sports and digital entertainment experiences is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be working closely with Product Managers and Product Designers and will be responsible for ensuring that the gaming platform delivers a first-class experience to customers, building great products with the best tools. The company employs cutting-edge technology to bring together online and offline fans and communities to share their passion for sports and games.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, deliver and run the products
  • Have an understanding of the modern architectural and engineering practices that underpin highly successful web solutions
  • Take a data-driven approach to develop new products and features
  • Spearhead the development and user experience process by possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, bias for action, and the ability to work independently
  • Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • 5+ years of experience using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, WebSockets, and Service Workers
  • 3+ years working on highly accessible and distributed web applications 
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP, and architectural patterns like MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture 
  • Extensive CI/CD understanding, including unit tests, test automation, GIT, gitflow 
  • Experience working with remote data through RESTful APIs and JSON formats 
  • Experience with headless content management systems 
  • Experience profiling and debugging Android apps, Unit, and UI testing 
  • Prior experience working with Grunt, Webpack would be desirable
  • Experience with ASP .NET and C# is nice to have
  • Solid understanding of networking essentials, including TCP/IP, routing, and DNS 
  • Prior working experience with JIRA and Confluence 
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to pick up new skill sets quickly 
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
