Job description

A fast-growing health tech startup transforming the highly fragmented healthcare transportation market is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for initiating and executing complex conceptual and innovative design assignments. The company’s proprietary solutions are poised to better equip health insurance, brokers, and providers to tackle the growing demand of health care transportation. This will be a great chance for developers to collaborate with an agile team to architect, implement, test, and continuously deliver new features and products.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize initial concepts of a project and determine the technical principles involved
  • Communicate current technology and project requirements with the technology and business team
  • Provide strategic direction and be a strong part of technical committees
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, etc.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Demonstrable expertise in modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks 
  • Prolific experience with React.js, Redux.js, Node.js, and Express.js
  • Experience with AWS APIs like Lambda, SQS, and S3
  • Prior experience with designing and scaling NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha 
  • Prolific experience troubleshooting/building reusable and efficient components
