Job description

A NASDAQ-listed media buying company that is building a revolutionary platform for the advertising industry is looking for a Kafka Expert. The selected candidate will be expected to provide the subject matter expertise and propose new enhancements to help the team make more informed and innovative choices. They have managed to raise more than $300mn in funding so far. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring 4-6+ hours overlap with the UK time zone. It is an exciting opportunity for candidates to join a talented team of individuals and lead the digital transformation.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create the code so that others can balance the partitions
  • Will build and manage Kafka as a service
  • Create artifacts that will help to manage Kafka
  • Contribute to the product's development by resolving complex problems in a simple, elegant manner

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working as a software engineer
  • Should be a coder with experience in Kafka and Kafka infrastructure
  • Capable of comprehending and contributing to a technical solution from design to code
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
