Job description

A technology platform based in America that is building on-demand business expertise and aggregated data analysis of projects is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable, performant, and secure web applications. Businesses can use the platform to find independent consultants and specialists who provide niche skills and have been thoroughly verified for on-demand work. The company has managed to raise $18 mn+ in funding during their Series A round. This will be a full-time position that requires some overlap with the PST/EST time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to build highly engaging user experiences
Build scalable, high-quality software designs
Take ownership, solve complex problems, lead complicated development projects from start to finish by using a variety of languages, frameworks, and technologies
Take initiative to use contemporary tools and scripting to automate processes
Mentor, guide, train, and coach other engineers to help them improve their knowledge and skills
Assist in the development of a growing Engineering team's methods, culture, and future
Have a strong inclination towards clean, robust, and scalable code

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
3+ years experience working with PHP
Prolific knowledge and experience with React, Angular, and Vue.js
Nice to have some knowledge of Node.js
Extensive knowledge of one or more current MVC frameworks
Experience with JS, particularly with a modern framework
Strong datastore and schema/query design knowledge
Demonstrated strong UI/UX instincts
