Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is developing a multi-asset trading platform while utilizing next-gen technologies is looking for an SRE Engineer. The selected candidate will be working together with the product team and management to clarify development cycles and gain their understanding. The company gives institutional and professional traders access to cutting-edge charting tools with customizable indicators. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product leaders and technical team to develop scalable solutions 
  • Observe new technology developments and promote advancements
  • Own key program components and be accountable for their upkeep and evolution over time
  • Improve the overall user experience and release new product updates

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Terraform, AWS, and Jenkins
  • Prolific experience with Git and Gradle
  • Familiarity with Jira and Network Protocol is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of utilizing Hashicorp Terraform for building and maintaining code for platform deployment and lifecycle in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Amazon services, including their configuration, provisioning, and use
  • Nice to have a solid working understanding of Cognito
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating and managing Jenkins pipelines, both declarative and scripted
  • Familiarity with Gradle-based multi-layered builds
  • Proven abilities in Linux systems administration, including knowledge of both RHEL- and Debian-based platforms
  • Experience developing and deploying containerized apps using Docker compose or comparable technologies, including orchestrators and single-node templates
  • Expertise in Python and Bash, with knowledge of Node.js regarded as a valuable asset
  • Strong Git source control system skills
  • Knowledge of operating and maintaining PostgreSQL databases
  • Solid networking and system administration skills, including the capacity to troubleshoot and solve complex problems 
  • Jira story and defect management experience is nice to have
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
